Information Security Policy

LocationMind Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) conducts business to extract insights on “when, what, why, and what to do” through the analysis of spatial location information, supporting the resolution of various challenges faced by industries and institutions.

Recognising the importance of protecting information assets, including customer information handled in our business, executives and employees are committed to complying with this policy as individuals handling information assets. They also execute the Information Security Management System and continually review and improve it.

  1. To protect information assets, we establish this policy along with related regulations and operate by them. We also comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards regarding information security, as well as contractual obligations with customers.

  2. When engaging in outsourcing activities, we establish outsourcing criteria and conduct appropriate selections of outsourcing partners. To ensure that the outsourcing criteria are maintained properly, we continually review outsourcing partners and strive to strengthen contracts.

  3. Criteria for analyzing and assessing risks such as leakage, damage, and loss concerning information assets will be clearly defined. A systematic risk assessment method will be established and regular risk assessments conducted. Based on the results, necessary and appropriate security measures will be implemented.

  4. An information security system centred around responsible executives will be established, clarifying the authorities and responsibilities regarding information security. Additionally, ensuring that all employees recognize the importance of information security and conducting regular education, training, and awareness activities to ensure the appropriate handling of information assets will be prioritized.

  5. Regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with this policy and the handling of information assets will be conducted. Any deficiencies or areas for improvement discovered will be promptly addressed with corrective measures.

  6. Appropriate measures in response to information security events or incidents will be taken. In the event of their occurrence, response procedures will be established in advance to minimize damage and promptly respond with appropriate corrective actions. Particularly for incidents involving business interruptions, a framework for their management will be established and the continuity of our business ensured through regular reviews.

  7. In the event of a violation of this policy or related information security regulations concerning the handling of information assets, we will take appropriate actions following the provisions of our company’s employment regulations.
